These guys have been friends for more than a dozen years, their kids go to the same schools, they shop at the same local stores and bank at the same local bank. They both have strong ties to the community. Their homes are blocks away from one another and the businesses they run are only a couple sidewalk squares apart. They see each other almost every day. Two guys that know how it feels to run a business, pick up their kids from school then shuttle them to dance classes, piano lessons, school sports, etc., while still having to hit the grocery store and pay the bills.
This is why LOL was created - because we know what it takes to run a small, local business. AND we know that small, local business is essential to a well-connected community. We are here to support local restaurants and build a strong local economy - you won't see any deals for corporate restaurant chains on LOL! Our goal is simple: connect locals with local restaurants while returning the sales back to the restaurants themselves. A novel idea you say? Actually it's what sets us so far apart from the big discount sites - virtually all of the dollars are kept right here in the Colorado Springs community!
